1. I dont find the textures
There are some materials that have a link for downloading the textures (because of size problems).

2. Where do I put the maps that I download with the material?
If you place your maps under installation folder/Materials Database/ Textures, Maxwell will always find them.
If you place your maps under installation folder/Materials Database/ Textures, Maxwell will always find them. You can also place them on the same location there the .mxm is stored. Maxwell tries to find the missing textures on the folder where the material file is.
3. What happens to larger existing materials?
They will remain the same, uploading rules apply from now on. Our server capacity is not unlimited unfortunately.
4. I find a folder related to OSX that begins with a “ ._ “ symbol, what is it?
You do not have to worry about it. It means you are on Windows and the material was created on a Mac computer. It stores some references visible for Win users. You can delete them as you do not need them.
